Acqua di Parma, the distinctly Italian cologne company, began in 1916 when Carlo Magnani created his own personal cologne in his hometown of Parma.

Wearing the cologne around Parma, Carlo’s friends and colleagues were intrigued by its familiar and fresh scent that reminded them of the smells of the wild Italian seasons. In time the scent evolved into a brand popular with Italian tailors, who found Acqua di Parma added another level of class and character to their Italian suits.
