Paul Smith
Paul Smith is global - it all started in 1970 when he opened a tiny shop in Nottingham while completing his studies. Highly influenced by the colourful world of art, ideas, music and excitement of the 60's Paul Smith has established himself as the pre-eminent Bristish designer.
His collections transmit a genuine sense of humour and mischief mixed with his love of tradition and the classics. He is able to anticipate direction and spark off trends in fashion, designing mostly in London and Nottingham he brings an unmistakable Englishness to his collection.
The collection is wholesaled to thirty five countries and has fourteen shops in England and over two hundred throughout Japan. Paul Smith continues to be an integral part of the company; he is both designer and chairman.
